Personal Navigators, and other handouts from the  14-Night Westbound Panama Canal Cruise from New Orleans to San Diego. The Disney Wonder set sail from New Orleans on March 6, 2020. During this cruise, the ship was under the control of Captain Henry Andersson. The Cruise Director during the sailing was Ashley Long. 

Guests were notified the Disney Wonder would arrive in San Diego a day early and skip Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas due to the Coronavirus thread. Earlier in the cruise, a medical emergency, unrelated to the pandemic, set the Wonder behind causing the ship to miss a scheduled call in Cartagena, Columbia.

During the evening of March 9th, a medical emergency occurred onboard requiring emergency surgery. The Disney Wonder turned around to return patient to Grand Cayman. As a result, the Disney Wonder will not have enough time for guests to go ashore in Cartagena, Columbia. The Wonder will stop in Cartagena for 1 hour “technical stop” before departing to keep her scheduled appointment for the Panama Canal transit. (Source)

    Wow. A 14-night cruise that ended up with only two stops where Guests could disembark. I mean…I am a fan of a nice day at sea, and the ship, but that is a little too much time on the ship I think even for me.

    I think Dave comment meant that this specific cruise effectively stopped only twice despite the fact it was supposed to have initially more scheduled.
    And indeed 12 days at sea considering the current situation is not ideal.
