Personal Navigators, and other handouts from the 14-Night Westbound Panama Canal Cruise from Port Canaveral. The Disney Wonder set sail from Port Canaveral on February 24, 2019. During this cruise, the ship was under the control of Captain Daniele Aschero. The Cruise Director during the sailing was Natalie Bailey.

 

The following are some general notes shared with us about this cruise. Heath Hyche performed in the Walt Disney Theater instead of the Beverly Belle’s scheduled performance due to one of the Belles becoming sick. The two performances inherently switched places. There was a cabaret show in Azure performed by the Walt Disney Theater cast, but a second showing was scheduled due to popular demand. There was initially no Jack Jack’s Diaper Dash scheduled, but enough passengers requested it. There was only one crawling baby entered to race, so they also raced toddlers and dads. The Gold and Platinum reception was held in the Walt Disney Theater with refreshments preceding in Preludes. The reception consisted of an introduction to the theater technical team and a special showing of a scene of the recently re-imagined Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic. The scene was performed once as usual, and then the second time they turned on the tech team mics to give the audience an idea of what goes on behind the scenes.
