This one was a fun cruise to sail on! Norway and Iceland are absolutely stunning!

Quick question: If we put a $250 placeholder on a future cruise, would we still be eligibile for the discount and onboard credit?

This was our trip of a lifetime on our bucket list, and what great weather!!! A couple of days seeing Dover and surrounding area before boarding ship, the bagpipe playing upon arrival in Orkey Islands Scotland and a wonderful Neolithic port adventure. Incredible at all ports of call. Exceptional durning our time in Iceland. Lots of sunshine and even got to 30 in picturesque Alesund Norway. My new Donold Duck swim suit and I actually got a couple of days in the Quiet Cove pool. We did have a rough crossing from Kirkwall Scotland to Reykjavik Iceland with 59 knot winds. But attached the seasick patch and everything was AOK. Freezing the the night away deck show was performed on deck nine in high winds and low temperatures but I finally wore the winter gear I had packed for the trip. The entertainers were troopers! The overnight run from Alesund to Stavanger Norway had 64 knot howling winds, exciting! A little bit of liquid sunshine in Stavanger Norway and Gothenburg Sweden but did not dampen our spirit. The Padden canal boat ride was an easy way to see the sites of the city and habor in Gothenburg and just a short walk from the shuttle bus stop. Raining again Copenhagen at debarkation. The weather made us feel better about having to fly home on debarkation day to get back to start teaching school again. The trip came off without a hitch. We used Disney for our airline tickets and got a great price. Overall a fabulous trip with exceptional shows, variety acts and entertainment on ship. Reliving it through our many, many pictures.

Is it the first time DCL does an open seating dinner on a cruise? I’ll be on the same cruise next year and I hope it’ll also be an open seating dinner while we are in Reykjavik, it’s easier to visit the city during the evening with no time constraint.

The dinner menu for day 7 was World of Flavour instead of Pixar, day 8 was Pixar instead of Captain’s Gala/Animation Magic/Lantern, and day 11 was Captain’s Gala/Animation Magic/Lantern instead of ‘Til We Meet Again.
