The new class of Disney Cruise vessel will be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas. Last month Disney held a grand reveal Once Upon a Disney Wish event sharing an introductory look at what guests can expect to experience aboard the Disney Wish when she sets sail in June 2022. Tomorrow, Disney Wish bookings for the inaugural summer season open up to the general public after nearly a two week early booking period for Castaway Club members, Golden Oak homeowners, Disney Vacation Club, and Adventures by Disney guests.
I can not wait! We have our cruise booked for September 2022. We also have one on the Dream for December 2021. Hopefully we won’t have to mask up. Question have you heard if the Dream will be permanently docked in Miami?
According to the PortMiami dock schedule, the Disney Dream is scheduled to depart on May 29th. However, this could always change.
From what I understand from what I have read the Dream is may temporarily go to to Miami, but they are currently slated to share a terminal with MSC. Because Disney IS what Disney IS, this not acceptable. They are currently in negotiations with Port Everglades, 30 mile north, just outside Fort Lauderdale International Airport for a dedicated DISNEY terminal with all magic and pixie dust applied.
Correct, the Dream is going to sail from Miami starting June 2022. However, the current agreement with PortMiami ends April 2024 and there is an out clause. Last week, Port Everglades was granted approval to begin formal discussions with DCL. Here is that story, which includes links to the previous news on the shared usage agreement with MSC. Also last week, Royal Caribbean is now tied to the MSC terminal for a shared usage agreement.
In order to stay on schedule it must be almost time for steel cutting

Looks like a cut out on the top portion… could be a pool or the bottom of one of the restaurants…
