Thank you Chris Kidder for sharing along with these additional notes:

  • Halloween was Night 2 with Mickey’s Mousequerade dance party on deck, candy delivered in bag to stateroom. Pirate night was night 3 and Disney Ever After Fireworks were night 3 on deck at 1045pm.
  • Night 3 Itinerary adjusted due to Cat 3 Hurricane near Cabo San Lucas – subbed Ensenada instead of Cabo San Lucas, email send out day before cruise, Ensenada was 830a-445p
  • Theater Shows: Frozen nights 1 & 2, Disney Dreams nights 3 & 4 // no variety acts offered, just piano act in Cadillac Lounge
  • Bingo: only paper packs available, no electronic machines
  • Crew: 950-ish, Guests: 900-ish (600 adults, 300 children) Ensenada – must be vaccinated to get off ship by yourself. Non-vaccinated guests could only get off ship if on a Disney Port Adventure
  • Night one leaving San Diego towards Ensenada for sea day we encountered 12-15 foot seas due to a high-pressure system moving down California coast…it was quite rough the first night with ship swaying side to side all night. Next day at sea the waves were 6-8 feet which made for a fun adult wave pool. Adult Pool was heated due to temps being in the low 70’s
  • Non-scheduled on the app character appearances on deck included Stitch, Captain Hook and Mickey and Minnie during sea days.
  • No sports court available, lounge chairs spread across that area
  • Due to supply issues, some items in the French Quarter Lounge were not available (beers mostly)

If you have any navigators you would be willing to share, please send me an email. If you would rather upload the files you can use our upload form.

The format of information given on the APP drives me crazy. It’s too hard to find what activities are going on at the same to in order to choose your top pick. The hardcopy has a better layout in order to do that. Plus, as others have mentioned, I save my Personal Navigators as souvenirs to remember my cruise. If some guests wish to use the APP, fine, but I still would like a hardcopy. I’ve emailed and called DCL and they seem set on just offering information on the APP. So much for customer service.

I have to agree with the sentiment about the hardcopy (paper) Navigators. Those were always great souvenirs ever since our first cruise. We actually have navigators from all 13 (so far) cruises we took. we take them out now and then to go over what we did to bring back the memories of what we saw or traveled, movies shown and adult events.
Sure I understand that printing massive copies may not be environmentally the best practice but Disney can recycle the papers left over. Even so, they can have copies printed on demand at Guest Services for those who turn off their phone while on a relaxing cruise at sea.

Brett, we are on the same page–pun intended. We also take ours out every once in awhile and reminisce. I remember when they use to give a “Navlighter” as a gift. It was great for highlighting the activities you did not want to miss. Hopefully, they will rethink this.

Dee… are you sailing on the Wonder? If so, it’s Triton’s not Royal Palace. Either way… if I have a leisurely day planned or an excursion meet up late in the morning, we enjoy the sit down restaurants for breakfast. For a quick grab & go it’s Cabana’s.

    @ Dee!

Enjoy it. Was on Dream a few weeks ago and going again in a few more. Try out both – the sit down and cabanas. Both are different experiences and worth enjoying! Same for lunch. Worth doing one sit down in the main dining rooms and one at cabanas.

Aqua duck was open and didn’t have any restrictions around how long one could ride it for. Adult pools were great. The shoes and movies are plentiful.

If you want to do bingo – need to go. Extra early for it as that was the one activity that always filled up super early (even before bingo pre sales started).

Thank you for the info!!! How bad was the test at the port? How long did you wait for results? Would they let me in if I’m there before our port time?
      Thanks, again

They are generally following port arrival times closet especially if your arrival time is early (before 12:30 pm).

Our time was for 1 pm and we were there about five minutes early and they let us right in.

The test was easy and you swab yourself and also any kids you have you swab.

Didn’t have kids in the oceaneer clubs so don’t know how strict but I will tell you we went to family game night in one of the lounges and the cast member there did ask the mom of a 7 year old to have her wear her mask as it was “required”. We saw them enforcing mask rules but in a gentle Disney way and everyone was willing to comply.

We did not see anyone argue about masks with cast members etc.

On our sailing – which has 2100 people on the Dream , we arrived at 12:55 pm to port. Dropped off luggage, paid for parking and got tested. We finished our test at 1:24 pm and had our results in safe passage at 1:55 pm. We immediately went to the terminal where we did security and Gold castaway check in (less line) and we walked right onto the ship and we were on the ship by 2:10.

Then we watched the welcome show and a cast member immediately took us to do our mustard drill check in (literally took five minutes including walking time) and then we were free to roam about the ship.

Our rooms were ready at 2 pm so we went there first to get our keys (keys are currently outside of each stateroom door) and our checked luggage arrived by 2:30 pm.

Everyone was very nice and it did feel great to be back on the ship even with some limitations.

Have a great time! It will be as great as you make it!

Thank you so much for all the info! I really appreciate it!
It’s look like the switch everything to the app ( customer service, dining and menus, booking breakfast? ….) I’m assuming we just need to get use to it lol
      Thank, again

Thank you so much for this information, We sail on the Magic on November 8th, and I was curious about how the boarding process went. I can’t wait to get back on the ship!
