We were on this cruise as well. The Marvel Day at Sea was an absolute blast. The menus are incorrect, though. They had a wacky schedule, and some of the menus they even changed day-of. There was no pirate night menu (despite having pirate night), and no third rotational menu. We missed our Lumiere’s rotational, but our awesome head waiter and waiter brought us the escargot and grand marnier souffles on the Marvel night.
Day 1: Rotational
Day 2: Rotational
Day 3: Prince and Princess (Pirate Night)
Day 4: Captain’s Gala (Castaway Cay) — Lobster tail night
Day 5: Land and Sea (Open seating — Port Canaveral)
Day 6: Marvel Menu
Day 7: Till we meet again
We had Animator’s on the last night, and I didn’t know that they changed the soup to a spaghetti and meatball soup. It was like eating slightly better quality non-round Spaghetti O’s. Not nearly as good as the last two soups (I actually liked the popcorn soup.) I hope this one doesn’t last very long.
Thanks for clearing this up. I was confused by what I was told and although it was accurate, it didn’t seem correct. I too enjoyed the popcorn soup. The recipe is listed on this page.
Thanks. My wife hated the popcorn soup, so we won’t be making that. 😉 I think the schedule was also messed up from it being actual Halloween on Day 4, so they couldn’t have the normal pirate night in Castaway Cay, and that caused them to move things around. The schedule is also correct that Twice Charmed had to be rescheduled because of the rocky ship (Nor’easter came up the east coast), and the juggler (I forget his name) performed instead. Ironic, isn’t it?
