We will be booking the New Year’s cruise on the Fantasy as a backup for our cruise currently booked for April of 2021. This was supposed to be to celebrate our son’s graduation in June of 2021. His favorite ship is the Fantasy and he has been looking forward to cruising on her and experiencing the Vibe since he will not turn 18 until the middle of July of that year. We still REALLY hope that April is a go, since we used our discount from the WBPC cruise to upgrade to concierge for probably the only time. I have been struggling to pick another date since April seems a bit iffy at the moment. May is too close to graduation. June does not work because we already rescheduled a trip to Ixtapa from this June since they were closed due to Covid. July through October can be prime hurricane season, and I am not going to wonder if that cruise will be cancelled due to a hurricane after all this craziness due to Covid. He should be enrolled in college os some sort in the Fall, so now that limits options even more. We did a New Year’s cruise on the Fantasy and really enjoyed it, so hopefully it would be as much fun again. Our son just misses out on the Vibe and we would all miss out on the experience of concierge. It will be interesting to see how bookings go this week. I think most people will be holding off. We are booking tomorrow because holiday cruises can jump in price pretty quickly. It is all just to hedge our bets at this point. I wish I felt the usual excitement for booking a cruise.
