Disney Cruise Line Star Wars Merchandise Appearing on the Disney Fantasy

Earlier this month, a reader noticed a few new DCL Star Wars merchandise that appeared on the second day of her week-long Disney Fantasy cruise. Melissa Sinclair was kind enough to email the following photos of the various t-shirts, iPhone cases and other accessories with the Disney Cruise Line and Star Wars logos. There is no question this merchandise is just the beginning of the merchandise guests will find during the Star Wars sailings.

I think the only way you will miss the Star Wars merchandise is if you do not go into the gift shops.

The Voyage Through the Galaxy logo merchandise reminds me of the teaser video DCL created for the upcoming Star Wars cruises aboard the Disney Fantasy.

It also looks like Disney Cruise Line plans to add another Captain to their “how many captains are on the ship” trivia question.

One of the accessories photographed was this black scarf with an anchor design based on iconic Star Wars modes of transportation.

Star Wars Day at Sea will be held on the following 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruises featuring Star Wars Day at Sea from Port Canaveral. The cruise will spend the second day at sea followed by Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Days five and six will be days at sea as the ship heads towards her final stop at Castaway Cay.

As far as I know, the merchandise is limited to the Disney Fantasy. Please let me know if you spot any DCL/Star Wars merchandise on the other ships.

So excited! We’re on the Feb 20th 2016. BTW, when you mean the 2nd at sea day for Star Wars festivities, do you mean day 5 of the cruise (after Cozumel and Grand Cayman)? Thanks for the fantastic information on your website!

No Su-Lynn. I was just relaying the information that was shared with me. According to Melissa who shared the photos, the merchandise appeared in the shops on the second day of the August 8th cruise.

Oh ok, gotcha. I was just wondering which day the Star Wars Day festivities will be on our cruise in February. I think the second day at sea will be Day 5 of the cruise. Thanks!

If you look at the shirts for Star Wars day at sea, it will be the 5 th day (The day after the Grand Cayman Stop). BTW, we are booked on the first cruise January 8th. Can’t wait.

I just read about a new app that WDW came out with “Shop Disney Parks” for buying authentic park merchandise. I wonder if DCL will follow suit with something similar. I actually loaded the parks one and it works well. If you happen to be at WDW it will actually show you where to buy what you’re looking at on a map of the world with a simple tap of the finger.

All merchandise is available on the Magic which converted the former Duty Free, outside O’Gills, to a Star Wars shop.

Jay, DCL/Star Wars merchandise is available on all the ships. This is supposedly exclusive items only offered on the eight Star Wars cruises on the Disney Fantasy. We should know if this is the case once DCL adds the items to their website.

Certainly could be some exclusive merch for the SW cruises. The merch in the special store on the Magic included the Captain of the ship shirt, Ewok and Chewie backpacks, mugs and more. This was different than the Force Awakens and Disney Star Wars Stuff sold in Mickeys Mainsail. Regardless, DCL is going all out for Star Wars. 😀
