Recently, Disney Auditions put out a casting calls searching for performers to fill multiple opportunities across the fleet including mainstage dancers, as well as character lookalikes.

Disney Cruise Line – Mainstage Dancers

Disney Cruise Line is conducting auditions for the upcoming Disney Wish, Disney Magic and Disney Dream casting, as well as future fleet wide needs. Disney takes pride in the art of theatrical storytelling, producing the highest caliber entertainment at sea. Tell stories only Disney can tell in a unique and exciting way!  Walt Disney Theatre productions have an intentionally inclusive BIPOC casting approach. Seeking trained and highly skilled dancers to bring our expansive canon to life.  

We hire a repertory company to perform full scale musical theatre shows. Seeking a diverse range of performers to bring Disney’s fleet of ships to life! Must be trained in ballet and jazz. Some Male identifying roles require Tumbling and/or Tap.  

Rehearsal takes place in Toronto, Canada beginning September 2023. Typical contract includes up to 8 weeks rehearsal and 6 months onboard. Contract includes competitive pay, travel, room and board – guest sailing privileges, significant contract completion bonus and some guest dining privileges.

Disney Cruise Line is conducting Character Performer auditions for our fleet wide needs! Disney takes pride in the art of theatrical storytelling, producing the highest caliber entertainment at sea. Tell stories only Disney can tell in a unique and exciting way!

We hire versatile performers to appear as our world famous Disney Characters for entertainment production shows, events, meet & greets and staged appearances.

All performers appear as fully costumed Disney Characters. Some performers also appear as Disney Character Look-alikes, and may step out into ensemble dancer roles. There are three hiring categories pending your skill set and dance ability.

Rehearsal takes place in Toronto, Canada starting late summer/early fall 2023. Typical contract includes up to 6 weeks of rehearsal and 6 months onboard. Contract includes competitive pay, travel, room and board, and a significant contract completion bonus.

Performers portraying Female Roles: 4’8.5″ – 5’0.5”, 5’1″ – 5’4″, 5’5″ – 5’8″.

Performers portraying Males Roles: 5’5″ – 5’8.5″, 5’11” – 6’4″ with slender to Athletic build.

Disney Cruise Line – Marvel Offerings

Disney Cruise Line is seeking Character performers to portray various Super Heroes for the Marvel offerings fleet wide.  Look-Alike roles for staged events, immersive meet & greet, productions, and surprise happenings!  Opportunities late summer 2023 to early 2024.  

Performers will be hired as onboard Crew, and must complete all application, pre-employment and onboarding requirements; including criminal background check, and medical.  Contract will include rehearsal and performance rate, contract completion bonus, meals while onboard, travel and shared housing.  

Select candidates will be considered on the following; including but not limited to height, look, martial arts or combat skills, and acro.  Some roles need strong acting ability.  Select performers will learn a movement combination, and may be fitted for costuming approvals.  

SEEKING:

• Groot: 6’2” to 6’4”, slender build.
• Spider-Man: 5’7” to 5’9” slender build.  Fully costumed.
• Black Panther [T’Challa]: 5’11” to 6’1” slender build.  Fully costumed.  Must learn a South African Xhosa dialect. 
• Black Panther [Shuri]: 5’5″ – 5’8″, slender build.  Fully costumed.  Must learn a South African Xhosa dialect. 
• Ant-Man: 5’10” to 6’, slender build.
• The Wasp: 5’6” to 5’8”, slender build.  
• Iron-Man: 6’ to 6’4” trim build. Fully costumed.
