Until DCL drops testing and virus shot BX we will not be sailing on their ships. Its that simple. What is Disney’s double standard? Lots of ships, very nice one, that do not have the worthless requirements.

You do realize this isn’t a Disney owned website and voicing your complaints here does 0 good. Emailing Disney directly would be more useful, unless this is just for cathartic effect.

Not only isn’t this a DCL run site so your complaints are just performative complaining, but DCL doesn’t miss you or your money. They’re doing just fine with guests who aren’t anti-science plague rats.

Wrong. While occupancy rates are increasing, they’re not a profitable levels. So they do miss their customer’s money. Also, “science” just retired so what are the sheep going to do now?

3600 passengers on the Fantasy June 18th 2022 would beg to argue. Disney is a premium line, more Disney passengers are likely to be vaccinated than not. The few of you I keep seeing belly aching about the health protocols are truly in the small minority. There’s always Carnival, but wait even they are still requiring testing or vaccination. Canada is still requiring vaccination. Even the Bahamas still list vaccines as being required for cruise passengers. You’re going to have to keep waiting, while the rest of us “sheep” enjoy cruising.

Those DCL passengers are vaccinated because they are required to be. And no, those ships are not full because the majority did not get vaxxed. Don’t worry. I’ll be back someday on DCL with my unvaxxed and untested t-shirt.

You might to entertain reading the financial reports for WDW and DCL that are issued, the latest just a couple weeks ago, before making such statements. Both are doing very well in profits.

“Although all cruise ships have now made their return to the high seas — and are even offering select character experiences once again! — last year’s difficulties haven’t been entirely erased.
Because Disney Cruise Line is wrapped into Disney’s Parks, Experience and Products division however, it is rare that we get a look at specific DCL numbers during The Walt Disney Company’s quarterly earnings reports.”

Also, another quick search and you will find comments like these:

            – “Our cruise on the Fantasy in mid-May had about 2400-2500 people, and the ship can hold 4000.”
            – “We had early dining and there were a lot of empty tables at dinner, and it felt less crowded than other DCL cruises we took pre-Covid. Our cruise had last minute rates available (that’s what we booked) so it definitely wasn’t selling as well as other cruises. The servers will tell you if you ask. We also took a private excursion in Grand Cayman and the boat owner had access to some website that listed how many passengers were on each cruise ship in the port each day.”

The parks are doing great as they have zero restrictions. DCL, not doing as well due to unnecessary restrictions. Try again.

I have two “I’m Vaccinated Because I’m Not Stupid” t-shirts and I proudly wear them. I also have had two Disney cruises under my belt during Covid, October 2021 and July 2022. Relaxed and enjoyed each because of DCL Covid testing and vaccination requirements. It was like pre-covid days. So all the anti Covid requirements people remain home and sit on your porch and watch traffic drive by for your excitement, and the rest of us will continue to enjoy cruising. Your loss. Simple as that.

You better enjoy it while it lasts. Won’t be that way much longer. The sane people will be back. The CDC has dropped Covid like a hot potato. All the so-called requirements are gone. “Mr Science” announced his retirement. It’s game over. And I promise you, it won’t be my loss. I’m as healthy as I have ever been. Not vaxxed. Not tested. And never got Covid.
I hope the vax does you no harm in the future as it has so many. I have heard from so many people that regret taking that vax. I never met anyone yet that regrets not taking it. Simple as that.
