This week Disney Auditions put out a casting call for actors interested in auditioning for the role of Santa & Mrs. Clause for the upcoming Very MerryTime cruises. Performances will include staged events, immersive meet & greet, productions, and “surprise happenings”. Applicants must be available approximately early November to late December, 2022. Submissions will be accepted through September 9th, 2022 by 5 pm EST.

The casting notice includes a character description within the monologue provided for candidates to use in their online video submissions:

SANTA CLAUS: All ethnicities. 5’10 to 6’2, iconic representation of a classic Holiday Santa Claus. Bellowing baritone voice, warm and loving personality. Must be clean shaven. Costume and cosmetology provided by Disney Cruise Line.

MRS. CLAUS: All Ethnicities. 5’5” to 5’8”, legendary better-half of Santa. Fun bubbling personality, warm and endearing. Costume and cosmetology provided by Disney Cruise Line.

Disney Cruise Line® is now accepting submissions for performers to portray Santa & Mrs. Claus for the Holiday season onboard our fleet of luxury cruise liners. Casting performers for staged events, immersive meet & greet, productions, and surprise happenings! Must be available approximately early November to late December, 2022.

Performers will be hired as onboard Crew, and must complete all application, pre-employment and onboarding requirements, including criminal background check, and medical. Contract will include rehearsal and performance rate, onboard contract completion bonus, meals while onboard, travel and single housing for performance.

Select candidates will be further investigated pending role consideration, including but not limited to height, look, vocal quality and acting ability.
