This week Disney Auditions put out a casting call for actors interested in auditioning for the role of Edna Mode from The Incredibles franchise for the upcoming Pixar Day at Sea cruises onboard the Disney . Performances will include staged events, immersive meet & greet, productions, and “surprise happenings”. Applicants must be available approximately November 11, 2022 to December 17, 2022 AND January 6, 2023 to March 11, 2023.. Submissions will be accepted through September 9th, 2022 by 5 pm EST.
The casting notice includes a character description within the monologue provided for candidates to use in their online video submissions:
Edna Mode: As seen in the Pixar film The Incredibles. Seeking performer with appropriate look, and vocal emulation. 4’10” to 5’1”.

Disney Cruise Line® is now accepting submissions for the new season of Pixar Day at Sea aboard the Disney Fantasy. Casting Actor look-Alike for staged events, immersive meet & greet, productions, and surprise happenings! Must be available approximately November 11, 2022 to December 17, 2022 AND January 6, 2023 to March 11, 2023.
Performers will be hired as onboard Crew, and must complete all application, pre-employment and onboarding requirements, including criminal background check, and medical. Contract will include rehearsal and performance rate, onboard contract completion bonus, meals while onboard, travel and single housing for performance. Role will be type-cast.
Select candidates will be further investigated pending role consideration, including but not limited to height, look, and acting ability.
SEEKING:
