Disney Wish Completes First Round of Sea Trials – April 8 – 12, 2022

Last week, the Disney Wish dropped lines in Eemshaven where she has been tied up following the completion of the river Ems conveyance from the Meyer Werft shipyard in late-March.

The Disney Wish first test was in the harbor on Friday April 8th, them proceeded into open the open waters of the North Sea for the weekend before returning to Eemshaven on Monday.

According to the data provided via AIS and reported by MarineTraffic, the Disney Wish eclipsed here cruising speed of 19.5 knots and maxed out at 22.4 knots (at least based on reported data) just under the maximum listed speed of 23 knots.

    Thank you for the updates! I have a 35yr. Anniversary back to back cruise booked for October and cannot wait! Are there any photos or videos of the Wish in Emmshaven?

    We’ll be celebrating our 55th onboard in September, Also on Back-to-back cruises. Can’t wait. I agree, some pictures from Eemshaven would be great!

    Do you know when their next sea trial is scheduled? I’m booked on their first cruise on 7/22 and worried it may be delayed again. Any updates would be appreciated
