Today, Disney Cruise Line emailed guests booked on the Disney Fantasy’s January 22, 2022 Star Wars Day at Sea sailing with an itinerary change switching from an Eastern to a Western. The email states that over the past few weeks, Disney Cruise Line has been in regular communication with the ports of call planned for the voyage. Given continued uncertainty regarding requirements and protocols for visiting some of these destinations, Disney Cruise Line made the decision to modify the itinerary.
The Disney Fantasy’s revised itinerary, a 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral still includes Castaway Cay with new port days in Cozumel and Costa Maya.
The revised itinerary is as follows:
- Saturday January 22, 2022 – Port Canaveral, Florida
- Sunday January 23, 2022 – Castaway Cay (previously At Sea)
- Monday January 24, 2022 – At Sea
- Tuesday January 25, 2022 – Cozumel, Mexico (previously Tortola)
- Wednesday January 26, 2022 – Costa Maya, Mexico (previously St. Thomas)
- Thursday January 27, 2022 – At Sea
- Friday January 28, 2022 – At Sea (previously Castaway Cay)
Saturday January 29, 2022 – Port Canaveral, Florida (Debarkation)
The email says guests booked on this sailing may modify their sail date or cancel their sailing without any Disney-imposed cancellation fees, if applicable, by contacting their travel agent on Friday, January 21. Please note that change fees and cancellation fees imposed by third-party suppliers, such as airlines and hotels, as well as travel insurance, are not refundable. Refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment.
