Disney Cruise Line Further Extends Temporary Final Payment Extension and Cancellation Fee Schedule Through December 31, 2021

Disney Cruise Line is further extending their temporary final payment deadline an additional month. For sailings through December 31, 2021, Disney Cruise Line is temporarily extending final payment until 60 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in unrestricted stateroom categories. This means that those Guests who have not yet reached their final payment due date can wait until up to 60 days prior to sailing to pay for their cruise vacation. Onboard cruise activities can be scheduled within your Castaway Club booking window once final payment is received.

Final Payment

For sailings through December 31, 2021, final payment is temporarily extended until 60 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in unrestricted stateroom categories.

Cancellation Fee Schedule

For sailings through December 31, 2021, the cancellation fee schedule has been temporarily relaxed from beginning as early as 119 days prior to sailing to beginning 59 days prior to sailing for Guests booked in non-Suite and non-Concierge categories. For Guests booked in Suite and Concierge categories, cancellation fees in excess of the deposit amount will temporarily begin at 59 days prior to sailing.
Reservations for Inside, Outside and Verandah Categories with Restrictions remain nonrefundable and nontransferable.

The final payment deadline calculations are also updated for sailings through December 31, 2022 on our website under the important date section of the cruise summary.

Categories with Restrictions

Reservations for Inside, Outside or Verandah Categories with Restrictions remain nonrefundable and nontransferable.

These temporary changes are in addition to our Cruise Date Flexibility* Option that already allows Guests the flexibility to change their sail date up to 15 days prior to departure for any cruise booked by July 31, 2021, for scheduled sailings on or before December 31, 2021. *This temporary Cruise Date Flexibility is valid for new and existing reservations booked prior to July 31, 2021, and allows Guests to change their departure up to 15 days before their sailing for any cruise departing through December 31, 2021. Guests that wish to change their sail date must move to a future sailing that commences on or before September 30, 2022. Prevailing rates apply and Guests are responsible for any balance due after the reservation has been modified. Guests are unable to return to their original sail date once the reservation has been changed. Should you cancel your new sail date, any cancellation fees applicable to the original sail date will be deferred and applied as a minimum cancellation fee to the future sailing. Standard air cancellation fees apply for Guests who booked flights through Disney Cruise Line.
