By The Numbers | Coronavirus Cancelled Cruises

Today, with this phase of cancellations of 23 cruises spanning 129 nights, Disney Cruise Line now sailing well past the 1 year mark for lost nights across the fleet. To date, Disney has been forced to cancel 377 sailings losing total 1988 nights across the fleet. The Disney Dream will lose 124 sailings losing 446-nights, Disney Fantasy 80 sailings losing 485-nights, Disney Magic 91 sailings losing 550-nights, and the Disney Wonder 82 sailings losing 507-nights due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

DCL COVID 19 By Number Canceled Sailings 20210406

Please note, the Disney Magic and Disney Dream stats have been adjusted to show just lost revenue of passenger sailings. The actual number of nights is higher due to previously scheduled dry dock periods and a repositioning cruise where there were no passenger sailings.

I set up sailings for each ship for those interested in keeping track of the fleet during the “temporary” shutdown. The sailings will be updated daily with “at sea” set as the default for each day until we learn otherwise.

Thank you so much, again, for your timely updates. I was booked on the June 6 (6 night Fantasy sailing. I have received the email that I would have option to receive the future cruise credit (FCC). However, it does not give further steps. It does say the FCC can be used online, however I don’t see it when I login to my DIsney.com account or on my Castaway Club account. Do you or anyone reading have an idea of how this works. I am guessing I will need to call, but imagine the hold times will be extensive given todays cancellations announcement. Thanks for any feedback!

Not surprising given the latest development. One thing of interest is what will be happening with the Magic, and looking forward for “clues” once DCL releases the UK cruising schedule. It does mention that they will be running the cruises for a “limited time” over the Summer – so curious to see if the Magic comes back to North America a little bit earlier than what would have been the TATL crossing. My take right now is that if the Magic sails back around mid-September and has to go through CDC protocols such as test cruises and certification, the NYC-Bermuda cruising season is unlikely to happen. If it was to come back a bit earlier (maybe late August)… then who knows

When you go to book another cruise and get to the payment screen there should be an option to pay for the new cruise with FCC. It will show much each person in your traveling party has under their name. I hope this helps.

I know L. This has been going on from the beginning of the pandemic. Some people will always be in a state of denial. This has nothing to do with Scott’s messaging. I appreciate the updates. It people response to the same thing over and over again. For me it gets tiring, but they are within their rights so I will keep reading them. ?
