Cruise International, the leading UK cruise magazine announced the winners for their 8th annual British Cruise Awards. At the September 3rd ceremony held at House of Lords, Cruise International Royal Caribbean bested Disney Cruise Line in the Best for Families category. DCL walked away with a Highly Commended in the family category. Previously, Disney Cruise Line took home top billing as Best for Families in 2013, earned a highly commended in 2014, and earned back the crown in 2015 and 2016, and 2017.
According to Liz Jarvis, Editor of Cruise International magazine there were over 80,000 votes cast in this year’s awards.
Overall, Disney Cruise Line received nominations in six categories.
