This week’s special offers from Disney Cruise Line feature one new sailing for U.S. Military Personnel and one new sailing with a Florida Resident Rate. Random note, the Disney Dream is now in Freeport, Bahamas for dry dock. These rates are available to book today through Sunday, October 11, 2015, while inventory lasts.
Disney Cruise Line is rolling out a new look website and in doing so is changing they names of their itineraries. Frankly, they are making them generic by dropping the specific Itinerary Letter such as Itinerary B, requiring additional digging to determine the itinerary details. The one highlight of the new naming structure is they are including the special sailings names; Very MerryTime, Halloween on the High Seas and Star Wars. I am still trying to determine the best way to provide specific itinerary information on the site while keeping the naming structure in sync with DCL. If you have a preference please let me know in the comments. I think I will maintain specific naming and add in DCL’s new generic, watered down, lowest common denominator itinerary name.
Another quirk that I hope Disney Cruise Line irons out is that the new website does not list all MTO/FLR sailings. For example, this week the new website does not show any FLR rates, but if you search on the old site there are two that are showing. Somewhere in DCL’s system there is a query that needs fixed to properly report sailings with special offers. Otherwise, what is the point of having a special offer if they are hidden.

Not related to the discount but this USNavy ship is sitting at Port Canaveral right now. I would like to see it in person.
