UPDATE: Complete Star Wars Day at Sea Merchandise Catalog, Pricing and Ordering Details
Beginning on Oct. 5, 2015, Guests with reservations on the Star Wars Day at Sea sailings aboard the Disney Fantasy may pre-purchase exclusive Star Wars Day at Sea commemorative merchandise. The pre-purchased items will be available to guests once onboard. The Personal Navigator will list the designated merchandise pick-up spot during the cruise.
To order the exclusive merchandise, guests should visit Disney Cruise Lines’ Gifts & Amenities page and look for Star Wars Day at Sea Merchandise. Once the items are online, I will update this post with some images.
Guests will need to validate their reservation and sail date in order to purchase merchandise. The Disney Fantasy will sail eight Western Caribbean cruises featuring the Star Wars Day at sea beginning in January and will run through mid-April. The itinerary and sail dates are as follows:

This is a step in the right direction. Disney Cruise Line is getting ahead of the game by allowing guests to pre-order these items, something I’ve said should be done for other special sailings to allow guest to get the same opportunity to purchase commemorative merchandise on final sailing as with those sailing on the first.

Chris, Who knows what time it will be added. I wouldn’t worry. With this lead time, these are more like pre-orders. I would guess that this is being done to make sure they order enough to exceed demand.

The merchandise is now available. You will need to click on your reservation number (I find it easiest to use my Castaway Club login, and then pull up the Star Wars cruise), and then go to the In-Room Gifts & Shopping tab, Click “Start Shopping” on the pop-up window, and then choose “Star Wars Day at Sea Merchandise”. From there, you choose your sailing date. Then you can view the catalog, or enter for the Random Selection Process (the first 17 items) or choose “Pre-Purchase” for items 18 – 86. The final page of the catalog shows a calendar of sail dates and dates by which you need to cancel your order. I believe that means that you will not be charged quite yet for your purchases. The personalized items (name badges and cell phone cases) have earlier “cancel by” dates, due to production times.

The only problem is I like the Limited Edition pin for the second cruise and we are on the first one….LOL

Really nice variety of items, and I especially appreciate that the stores won’t be sold out by the time we board one of the final cruises. Way to go, DCL – very impressed by how they are handling it!
Same for us! We’re on the 3/5 sailing, but I really prefer the pin for the 4/16 sailing! :-/
Do you know if it’s only Disney Fantasy that’s allowed to purchase? We’re sailing on Disney Wonder. Someone said they have star wars products on other ships but I don’t know about this one as it’s a special sailing.
Star Wars merchandise is available across the fleet. The special event merchandise is only available on the Disney Fantasy. At least for now. I did see some of the art in the Vista Gallery aboard the Disney Dream in October well ahead of the Star Wars Day at Sea cruises.
I am so sad. We were supposed to sail on this special occasion in April but time would not allow us. WE ended up going with a 4-day cruise. I would love to purchase one of their handbags. Anyone know if stragglers like me will have a chance to purchase?? 🙁
We are sailing on the March 19th Star Wars cruise on the Fantasy. I’m having difficulties logging in to pre purchase the Star Wars merchandise. I’ve entered my confirmation number and a variety of first names and I keep getting a message saying the information is incorrect. Is there a secret way to enter the information? Thank you in advance for any help or assistance you can provide.
Sorry, I do not have any experience using the pre-order site as I am not booked on a Star Wars cruise. I would suggest calling DCL.
