11 AM Update | FINAL ADVISORY: Tropical Storm Bertha Becomes Post-Tropical

TS Bertha is now approximately 495 miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia moving northeast at 21 mph. Maximum sustained winds have remain at 50 mph. Gale force winds are extending outward 140 miles from the south of the center. The minimum central pressure is now up to 1006 mb.

Bertha acquired extratropical characteristics and as a result, the National Hurricane Center will no longer be issuing advisories on this weather system.

5 AM Update | Tropical Storm Bertha Quickly Moving NE into North Atlantic

TS Bertha is now approximately 400 miles south-southwest of Halifax, Nova Scotia moving northeast at 28 mph. Maximum sustained winds remain at 50 mph. TS force winds are extending outward 140 miles from the center, mainly to the east. The minimum central pressure is 1007 mb.

11 PM Update | Tropical Storm Bertha Passing Well Southeast of New England

TS Bertha is now approximately 415 miles northwest of Bermuda moving north-northeast at 21 mph. Maximum sustained winds have dropped to 50 mph. TS force winds are extending outward 140 miles from the center. The minimum central pressure is now up to 1007 mb.

5 PM Update | Tropical Storm Bertha Continues North Well Offshore

TS Bertha is now approximately 415 miles northwest of Bermuda moving north-northeast at 21 mph. Maximum sustained winds have dropped to 50 mph. TS force winds are extending outward 140 miles from the center. The minimum central pressure is now up to 1007 mb.

11 AM Update | Tropical Storm Bertha Continues to Weakens

Tropical Storm Bertha continues to weaken. TS Bertha is now approximately 445 miles west-northwest of Bermuda moving north-northeast at 22 mph. Maximum sustained winds have dropped to 60 mph. TS force winds are extending outward from the center primarily to the east 125 miles. The minimum central pressure is now up to 1006 mb.

TS Bertha is forecast to turn to the northeast today with increased forward speed.

5 AM Update | Hurricane Bertha Weakens Overnight to a Tropical Storm

Air Force Recon has determined Hurricane Bertha has weakened back to a tropical storm. TS Bertha is now approximately 475 miles west of Bermuda moving north-northeast at 22 mph. Maximum sustained winds have dropped to 65 mph. TS force winds are extending outward from the center primarily to the east 125 miles. The minimum central pressure is now up to 1005 mb.

TS Bertha is forecast to turn to the northeast today with increased forward speed.
