8AM Update

Overnight Hurricane Leslie found a way out of her rut, but  as of the latest update she is yet again stationary.  Little change in intensity is expected over the next 24 hours.  Possible strengthening may occur over the weekend.

The long term forecast shows Hurricane Leslie heading towards the east coast of Newfoundland.

The overall size of Leslie in combination with her slow motion will generate long-period swells along much of the est coast through the weekend.
