11 AM Update

Hurricane Leslie has barely moved over the last 12 hours as she continues her slow journey north at 2 mph with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph.  Her projected path has shifted and looks to take a turn to the north-northeast the beginning of next week. Leslie is expected to intensify by the weekend as she approaches Bermuda.

5PM Update

Not much development today as Leslie has become stationary.

The good news is that her projected path will change course towards the north-northeast on Sunday. This change in course, is aided by a cold front that is pushing off the east coast, which is  helping to steer Leslie out to sea.

If the daily trend continues to shift east, Leslie will hopefully be a non-issue for the Canadian ports!
