Below is a video recording of the Disney’s Believe from the stateroom TV.
Why are the performers unnamed? Please don’t say it’s because there are multiple performers for each part, I’ve never seen a show on or off Broadway that did not name the lead performers for each role, ditto for ballet companies that rotate principals in lead roles from day to day and matinee to evening performances. It’s not magic, it’s simple courtesy and giving deserved recognition to the lead performers.
Disney did provided a program for the opening of Tangled that included the names of the opening cast, but this is not something they do normally.
Does anybody know the song when you leave the theater. It has all the songs mixed together in a hip hop version?
You are the first person I have seen on the internet that has the same question as mine. No one seems to care or know it exists and it’s literally the best song! I’m desperate for that track! The tech I talked to on board says that they can’t even get the song for themselves or the crew. And I can’t find it anywhere online and I don’t know the name of it. If I had to guess it would probably be called Sophia’s Rap Remix. But that hasn’t come up with anything on Google.
I don’t know if anyone notices this, and it might get a different reception in Europe. It is only my opinion, just an opinion that the Believe show needs to be retired. The children do not pay attention, are not engaged, easily distracted and bored. It is too long, complicated and does not hold their interest. I personally as an older adult, watched it the first time and did not enjoy it. I thought it was stretching, long and pulled for a meaning and had to be explained. It wants to be an ethos but is not. We always go to have something to do and enjoy looking at the costumes, attention to detail, talent and other skill. The show however for me only is lacking. It just doesn’t have it and never has. Just my opinion. It does not matter.
