All Aboard Times Moving Up 1 Hour for Select Dream & Fantasy Sailings from Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral Beginning in November 2024

Disney Cruise Line is in the process of contacting guests booked on Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream sailings departing from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale about a change in their all aboard time. Beginning with Disney Dream departures as soon as November 6th and Disney Fantasy sailings from December 14th, the All Aboard time for embarkation day is changing from 4:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This means all guests must be onboard by 3:00 PM.

Disney is also recommending those with independent flight arrangements arriving the day of the cruise to check the arrival times to ensure adequate time to get to cruise terminal for check-in and boarding by 3:00 PM.

Dear Scott,

We look forward to welcoming you aboard and want to let you know about a change in the published All Aboard time for your sailing.

The All Aboard time for your sailing has recently changed from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All Guests must be onboard by 3:00 p.m. Guests arriving after 3:00 p.m. or without proper citizenship documentation will be denied boarding. Guests with independent flight arrangements may wish to check our website at disneycuise.com for the recommended fight-time guidelines for their departure port.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. It is our hope that Guests will enjoy getting their sailing underway an hour earlier.

Beginning approximately 30 days prior to your sailing, you will want to complete Online Check-in. Completing Online Check-In will streamline your port arrival experience. As part of this process, you will need to submit the required citizenship documents as well as select a Port Arrival Time. Online Check-in can be completed or modified up to one day prior to sailing.

Should you have questions about your upcoming voyage, please contact us at 1-866-325-6685 or 407-566-7797, or your travel advisor.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard soon.

Sincerely,

The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line

In November 2024, the Disney Dream will return from Europe and resume Bahamian and Western Caribbean voyages from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In December 2024, the Disney Fantasy pass on the alternating 7-night Eastern & Western Caribbean routes to the Disney Treasure and begins sailing 3-, 4-, and 5-night Bahamian cruises (and 1 7-night at the end of 2024) from Port Canaveral before sailing to Europe in 2025.

The all aboard times for your cruise should be up to date when completing the Online Check-In process starting 30-days before your sail date.

Wonder what the reasoning is for moving the all-aboard times up. Are they looking to leave the ports earlier as they all get busier and busier so they don’thave to wait for multipleships to pull out ahead of them? Cut the hours of the port staff and save on labor costs?

I assume that this will apply to the Treasure as well, but has not been officially announced yet. The Maiden Voyage still shows 3:45 for Onboard time.
