Disney Treasure: Final Block Installed – Work Transitions at Meyer Werft to Outfitting Disney Cruise Line’s New Build

The Disney Treasure reached another construction milestone with the completion of its last block according the a December 14th update on the Disney Parks Blog’s ship log. With the installation of the final block, the Disney Treasure is now structurally complete and outfitting work can begin.

The last block on the Disney Treasure will eventually house areas such as the adults-only Quiet Cove area (including Cove Café) and Hero Zone, a futuristic sports arena where physical activity blends with imagination, offering highly produced show experiences in addition to free-play sports.

With this latest milestone reached, the Disney Treasure can now move towards completion of its interior.

The Disney Treasure is set to sail its maiden voyage in just over a year on December 21, 2024.

    Any thoughts on why the interior work will be longer than it was for the Wish which had the final block the same Dec time but sailed Summer vs Treasure sailing end of year?

      I would think this is Disney’s preferred timeline. The Wish was behind schedule and delayed, which cut into the bottom line. It wasn’t completely ready even on the maiden voyages.
