Disney Cruise Line Held Steel Cutting Ceremony for Third Wish Class Vessel in Germany

Disney Cruise Line recently celebrated the first construction milestone for the third Wish Class vessel during a ceremonial steel cutting ceremony at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany.

The event included the ceremonial pushing of a button to start the robotic plasma cutter commencing the build of hull s.706, the unnamed 8th Disney Cruise Line ship.

A cruise ship silhouette was cut from a steel plate, and signed by the Walt Disney Imagineering shipyard team.

    It’s this not the Disney Destiny? The article says the un-named 8th ship but I thought that was the Destiny.
