Making the Wish: Disney’s Newest Cruise Ship Sails Over to Disney+ Streaming Service on February 17, 2023

In a January 17th press release, Disney revealed what’s next on Disney+ for February 2023. On February 17, 2023, Making the Disney Wish: Disney’s Newest Cruise Ship will end it’s inaugural run on National Geographic TV, and sail over to Disney+ where the special will be more widely available to stream.

The special follows the process of designing, constructing and launching the Disney Wish through the eyes of the incredible Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering teams that brought the ship to life. At the helm of this first-of-its-kind Disney Cruise Line documentary are National Geographic filmmakers Chad Cohen (director, writer and producer) and Bethany Jones (producer and writer) in partnership with Disney Yellow Shoes.

While I wish more time was dedicated to the ship design and construction phases, the special does offer some never before seen looks at the ship during the various phases of construction.
