Disney Cruise Line is sending out emails to guests booked on this week’s Maiden Voyage of the Disney Wish to share news that Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectactular will not be ready for the Maiden Voyage.
According to the email included below, Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectactular is still in rehearsals. However, Disney Seas the Adventure and The Little Mermaid, as well as other special entertainment, will be available in The Walt Disney Theatre.

We look forward to your arrival onboard the Disney Wish later this week and want to provide you with an update on the entertainment programming for your sailing.
While we had planned to offer Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular as part of our entertainment lineup, the show is still in rehearsals and will not be available during your sailing. Disney Seas the Adventure and The Little Mermaid, as well as other special entertainment, will be available in The Walt Disney Theatre.
We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the wide variety of entertainment that will be available throughout your cruise, from our productions in the beautiful Walt Disney Theatre, to our deck parties, interactive dining experiences, first-run movies and more.

It is unclear when Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectactular, which has been a regular production on the Disney Fantasy, will open on the Disney Wish and more emails like this could be going out for additional inaugural sailings.
UPDATE: Guests booked on the second cruise, the Disney Vacation Club sailing on July 19th also received the email.
I just received the same email for the DVC charter Wish sailing which follows the maiden voyage.
Any cancellation of its running on the DVC cruise on the Wish the following week?
FYI – We’re on the 3rd sailing and have not received an email like the above
We are on the August 8th sailing and they just noted to us that it won’t be running even then. Me thinks they are having quite a few issues with the tech there.
Cancellations are now running until at least mid-August. Just got a similar note about my 8/8 sailings, and multiple guests also reporting cancellation for the following cruise
