Port Arrival Times Moving Up 2-Hours for Select Upcoming Disney Dream Sailings

Disney Cruise Line is moving up Port Arrival Times for guests by 2-hours for select upcoming Disney Dream sailings from Port Canaveral. Guests’ who have already selected a Port Arrival Times for the select sailings will notice the time automatically adjusted. Disney is asking those guests to download an updated Port Arrival Form. Additionally, at this time, guests may change to a new available Port Arrival Time if desired.

Below is the content of the email being sent to guests on the select Disney Dream sailings.

We are reading out with an important update about your savings aboard the Disney Dream.

As part of the Online Check-in process, you may have already selected a Port Arrival Time. However, we would like to let you know th for your sailings we are able to welcome Guests earlier. Port Arrival Times for the August 27th, August 30th, September 3rd, and September 6th sailings have automatically been adjusted to begin two hours earlier. If you have already completed Online Check-in, your Port Arrival Time has been adjusted. Please visit Online Check-in to download an updated Port Arrival Form. You can also select a new available Port Arrival Time, if desired.

    It makes sense, DCL has more data on how long it is taking to process the testing and paperwork, along with general ship turn over. This will also give them 2 more hours to spread out the testing when the ship capacity is increased or the testing is applied to everyone (vaxed and unvaxed).

    Cool. I see things here before I even see my emails.

    So can anyone that has already sailed confirm what they did for embarkation lunch offerings…did they have any with port arrival times starting so late? (Other than Cabanas)

    Now that I was moved to an early port arrival time I wonder if it’s worth keeping or if I switch back to a later time and keep my previous lunch plans.
