In this installment of The Vault, we are going to take a trip back to 1991 with a look at Disney’s early days of land and sea vacations aboard the Big Red Boat with a partnership with Premier Cruise Lines which inevitably led to the decision to go full ahead with the launch of Disney Cruise Line. The booklet covered sailings from January 3, 1991 to June 12, 1992.

Special thanks again to John Marone for taking the time to photograph his copy of his 1991 Premier Cruise Lines Big Red Boat Rates & Information Vacation Planning Booklet. We still have more fun stuff to share in future installments of The Vault, if you have anything unique to share drop me an email.
I sure do wish they still had a single parent rate! I hate that I have to pay adult rates for my daughter.
It would be nice if they offered different room types not he new ships to offer better pricing in scenarios like yours. I know other lines now have single rooms and I don’t see why they couldn’t just add a bunk for a child.
October 1991 majestic, met my wife on that cruise
I had a choice to book the Big red boat or the Magic when it first was a float in 1998….We chose the Magic and we were docked at PC next to the BRB and it was the Little Red Boat compared to the Magic…and looked old…SO GLAD we went on the Magic and have been sailing DCL ever since…and YES the Magic is our favorite ship 🙂
The early 90’s were the “La belle époque” of Premier/Disney collaboration.
My whole childhood is in this series of posts.
Cant thank you enough for posting these and keeping them alive.
For me, you are very fortunate to be in possession of these, their sentimental value is priceless.
