To date, Disney Cruise Line suspended Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy departures through mid-June, Disney Magic sailings through July 2, 2020 and Disney Wonder sailings until the end of June 2020. No need to get the Facebook police up in arms with this information from an unofficial blog. If these sailings end up being canceled, this end the mystery and speculation about the European and Alaskan sailings for this year. As for the Dream & Fantasy, it seems like Disney Cruise Line consulted with Nostradamus when they added 3/4-night sailings aboard the Disney Fantasy for the fall of 2020. Short sailings would allow the cruise lines to control the environment by enhanced passenger/crew screening and by limiting port exposure with some limiting stops to private islands/ports and days at sea.
I have a 7 night Eastern Caribbean booked for 7/25, hopefully it’s still a go.
Do you think its possible that the short cruises may still happen with less passengers?
Eventually, I think short cruises with reduced capacity is how cruising is going to restart.
DCL just cancelled all Disney Magic sailings through July 26. I just go the notice this morning that my 7/25 Northern Europe cruise was cancelled out of Dover.
We are on the Aug 17th Wonder sailing and I fully expect it to be cancelled. I did PIF to get the 125% credit.
