Disney Cruise Line announced 12 of the Disney Magic’s staterooms will be converted to Category V, Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah accommodations. The furnishings and amenities will be upgraded by the October 2, 2020 sailing.
The following 4A – Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah are being converted to Category V Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah:
The addition of these 12 staterooms bring the total number of concierge staterooms on the Disney Magic to 44.
As of today, January 30, 2020, these staterooms are now open for sale as Category V, Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah.
- Reservations made for the staterooms listed above for sailings prior to October 2, 2020 will remain as Category 4A, Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.
- Reservations booked for sailings October 2, 2020 and beyond will be treated as Category V, Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah.
Concierge Guest Services will be reaching out to Guests and Travel Partners with Guests booked in the affected staterooms for sailings October 2, 2020 and beyond to advise of the category change and review Concierge benefits.
These are the same block of staterooms previously converted on the Disney Wonder.
You got starboard and port side staterooms mixed up. Other than that, I really am not in favor of this due to supply and demand, with cost. This could really make the cost of a Disney Cruise go even higher.

Wow…they *really* need to build more cabanas on Castaway Cay. It’s been a number of years since there were any available when I tried to book as a Platinum member – I can’t imagine sailing concierge and being told I’m on a waitlist.
