Disney Cruise Line is alerting passengers booked on the September, 2019 10-night Westbound Transatlantic Cruise from Dover to New York of a slight change in the Disney Magic’s scheduled itinerary. When the Disney Magic visits Cork, Ireland on September 17th, the ship will dock in Ringaskiddy (Cork) instead of Cobh (Cork).
Ringaskiddy is located within the Port of Cork harbor, the change is important to keep in mind for anyone planning to explore on your own.
At this time, the 2020 7-night British Isle Cruise is still show with Cohb on Disney Cruise Line’s website.
Cobh was so convenient last fall on the WBTA – there is a train station at the port.
I have this cruise booked and already knew this even though DCL just let me know today. If you look on the Port of Cork website, it’s been on there for quite some time. I was wondering when DCL would let us know. I almost didn’t book this cruise because of this. I hope they will provide us with what they are going to provide for transportation options. There is really nothing in Ringaskiddy and I was planning to walk to several place in Cobh. It is pretty disappointing.
Thank you for the great map. I wasn’t entirely sure how this would affect getting to Cobh or Cork I have never been to Ireland. I see this is actually quite inconvenient. Thank you 😀
I already knew this for a few months. It feels like Disney is dumping us on a piece of Ireland with nothing around and forces us to do a (expensive) excursion.
