After months of voting, Porthole readers have selected the winners for the 20th annual Readers’ Choice Awards!
Porthole has been doing this for 20 years, so in honor of their platinum anniversary they decided to shake things up in 2018. Porthole added some categories and streamlined others in order to get more of the information you, the readers, care most about. Readers picked the very best ships, amenities and destinations in 51 categories, singling out 36 cruise-line winners and 15 destinations that are, by common decree, simply astounding in what they do and what they offer to cruisers.
Disney Cruise Line was recently named the Most Family-Orientated Cruise line along with two other accolades by readers of Porthole Cruise Magazine. Overall, DCL earned three awards in Porthole Magazine’s 2018 Reader’s Choice Awards. Porthole Magazine Reader’s recognized Disney Cruise Line as the Most Family-Oriented Cruise Line as well as the line with the Best Children’s Programs. Readers did not just focus solely on the Family aspect, as they also awarded Disney Cruise Line as having the Best Entertainment.
