Earlier this month we looked at mysterious case featuring ordinary people looking to book a Category 7A Deluxe Oceanview with Navigator’s Verandah Staterooms aboard the Disney Wonder. Each one was searching for that vital clue to end a story that, at the time, had no ending. Today, I am happy to report the 7A stateroom on the Wonder are back and we have you, the reader, to thank for cracking the case!
Taking a step back to earlier this week I started to get emails and private messages alerting me to the return of the 7A stateroom availability for Disney Wonder sailings after the 2019 Alaskan season and unannounced dry dock. Each and almost every sailing from September 30, 2018 into May 2019 has 7A rooms available to book today, including those few New Orleans dates that have had limited availability since opening day.
The only two sailings as of today that do not have 7A rooms available are the April 29th and May 8th Hawaii cruises. How do I know? I checked each sailing.
Ok, the Case of the Missing Disney Wonder 7A Deluxe Oceanview with Navigator’s Verandah Staterooms isn’t technically solved, but we do have the rooms back in inventory for you to book!
You’re still here? There are up to 30 additional rooms in inventory. Go book these 7A’s. Go.
Hi Scott
I was able to switch my reservation to room 6134 today for the May 8, 2020 Hawaii sailing.
I called just before 9am and they were showing availability on decks 5, 6 &7 on the website.
They appeared to be all gone within an hour.
Hi Scott
I see you posted my reply, can you please remove my last name?
My first ever reply and I didn’t know it would show.
Thank you!
Your last name has been removed from the previous comment.
Must have been that Bermuda Triangle activity
Hi Scott,
I was just checking and don’t see any available. I guess it’s possible that every single cabin for every single cruise was snapped up…..or was it maybe a system thing that made them available and then took them out again?
Carl,
I just spot checked a few sailings and 7As are available.
No only did you check every sailing you made a spreadsheet with colors 😀
Thank you Sanders Family!
Had a cat.5B on the Panama cruise in 2020 and changed to our favorite stateroom, the Magic Porthole, cat 7A and saved us $1500.
I just booked an Alaskan cruise on the Wonder for May 2020 and it looks like (from the deck plans) the navigator’s verandahs have disappeared again?
Are there benefits to Cat 7A?
