Disney Dream September 4th Itinerary Altered to Avoid Hurricane Irma

The Disney Dream’s September 4th itinerary has been altered to keep the ship away from Hurricane Irma and ensure guests have the opportunity to visit Castaway Cay

The September 4, 2017 4-night Bahamian Cruise will swap the middle days visiting Castaway Cay on Tuesday and Nassau on Wednesday followed by the day at sea.

If Irma turns north as expected, I suspect the weekend Dream cruise will be a at sea only cruise, since she will be in the middle of the Bahama’s starting Friday.

they won’t be able to get back to FL on Monday. No way with the projections – better just to cancel that itinerary. Florida is prepping for a hurricane i wouldn’t add 4,000 people to the state

The ship doesn’t have to get back to land on Monday. It can easily go a week + at sea. Or take the long way around to Cozumel, Mexico, just like what DCL did for Harvey last year.

The Dream is suppose to have another sail on Monday the 11th (My husband and I are scheduled for it) They said it could possibly be set back a day and we would board on the 12th (if there is a port!)

I’m so glad to hear that “THE SAFETY AND WELL BEING” of the Crew Members is of HIGHEST PRIORITY – my son is one of the Crew Members and I want them to get him out of there!!! Praying hard for safety of my son.
