Following the terrorist attack earlier this week in Barcelona, Disney Cruise Line is informing passengers aboard the Disney Magic to prepare for tightened security measures upon their return to Spain on Saturday.
Disney does not anticipate any changes to the debarkation process in Barcelona. However, passengers should anticipate an increase security presence thought Barcelona and the port area. Passengers with plans to fly out of Barcelona are encouraged to allow additional time for airport security screening.
The following is a copy of the letter given to guests sailing aboard the Disney Magic.
The Disney Magic is currently on the final day of the first 7-night Mediterranean cruise of 2017. The Disney Magic is scheduled to continue sailing the 7-night itinerary until mid-Septermber when she will embark on a Transatlantic cruise to New York.
