Hopefully, everyone had a great Thanksgiving. With Black Friday sales kicking off early this morning the official start of the holiday season is upon us. At our house, the Christmas tree is up, and today is the day I do my best Clark W Griswold impression and decorate the outside of the house.
Just like a Disney Cruise there is something special about this time a year that we can all enjoy. We have our fair share of Disney ornaments on our tree, including the one above. While this is an older ornament, you can still pick up this year’s Disney Cruise Line ornaments on the ships and online.
Giving a Disney Cruise as a Surprise Present
Surprising your family with a Disney Cruise at Christmas can be a lot of fun, but there is one big problem…. What is there to open? A few years ago we surprised our daughter with a January 5-Night Double Dip cruise on the [Disney_Magic] and found ourselves with the same problem. Luckily, we enjoy puzzles. So, I created a composite from a few photos and sent it off to a printer, who in turn printed the as a puzzle. On Christmas morning we gave our daughter the puzzle. Later in the afternoon we sat down and put it together. You could tell she enjoyed the puzzle, and with some help (she was still too young to read) we read the text “Pack Your Bags!” She was trilled, and to this day we still put this puzzle together and remember that moment and the cruise!
Disney Fantasy’s Decorated for the First Time
We first got a sneak peak at the [Disney_Fantasy] decorations this past July. After months of waiting, the Fantasy was decorated for the Holidays for the first time last week. Watch this video as the atrium lobby gets decorated.
I cannot wait until December to see it for myself. Check out all the cool things Disney has planned to Celebrate the Holidays. Are you sailing this Holiday Season?
