Previously, I wrote about the Atrium Lobby of the Disney Fantasy. I had quite a few images that missed the final cut, but still deserved time in the spotlight. This angled shot of the chandelier was originally going to be a vivid color representation. The colors were indeed quite vibrant, but the details were quickly overshadowed by the rainbow of colors.
There was a logical fix, a B&W image. Once the color was removed from the image, the fine details took center stage. Click on the image to see a larger version. I bet your eyes will be tracing the countless peacock-inspired lines. I know mine did!

This is fantastic! I’ve never truly appreciated Fantasy’s Chandelier. The colors were always too gaudy and feminine for my taste. Always preferred Dream’s rich and warm palliate. But here, in Black and White, you’ve captured the real essence of what the chandeliers are there for: to look fantastic! The amount of detail is astonishing!
Well done.
Thank you!
