The launch of the Disney Fantasy brought an additional interactive, Midship Detective Agency game featuring The Muppets. The Muppet version of the game includes 2 physical, non-enchanted art clues: a call board near the Buena Vista Theatre, and Pèpe the King Prawn’s Stateroom 5148 ½ just down the hall from the Kids Clubs. Pèpe’s stateroom door is covered with door magnets each offering clues to narrow down the list of possible suspects. This unique feature was added to the Disney Dream during the ships first dry dock.

One door magnet does not contain any clues, but does provide a hint to something quite special… Call Me, Okay? 41-5148 Love, Pèpe. It is Pèpe’s Wave Phone. When I first noticed this I immediately thought about the telephones at the Magic Kingdom which play recorded loops.

When we returned to our stateroom we dialed Pèpe’s number and were overjoyed when we reached his answering machine with the following options:

Thank goodness we were not paying cellular at sea rates to call Pèpe because we called so much our bill would have been a few hundred dollars. My daughter called so much she had the main menu along with most of Pèpe’s one-liners memorized by the end of day 2!
