Ahead of the first Silver Anniversary at Sea cruises, Disney Cruise Line’s website updated to reflect Pearl Castaway Club Member status for guests who have sailed on at least 25 voyages since the Disney Magic’s Maiden Voyage 1998.
Pearl Castaway Club member benefits in crude the ability to book new itineraries 4 days before the general public, and reserve cruise activities 123 days prior to sailing. Additionally, Pearl Members are given a complimentary Unlimited Digital Photo Package each cruise.
Additionally, there appears to be a new cruise check-in date for our upcoming bookings at 40-days out instead of 30-days. I’ve checked with a few friends who are Platinum, and they are showing 30-days for the same sail dates. This could be a glitch, or this may be a new Pearl benefit.
Alternatively, it could be the early phase of tiered check-in benefits for all Castaway Club levels. For one of my cruises, I checked this morning it went from 34 days to 40 days in a span of 5 minutes.
The official start of the Pearl level Castaway Club status begins May 1, 2023.
I’m curious what percentage of cruisers are pearl. Mostly wondering if that means I’ll have trouble getting on the maiden of the Treasure 😆!
I was thinking the same thing Kate! Would love to know if anyone has the answer.
We’d love to see the new lanyards!!
My husband and I are Pearl and we have 2 cruises coming up. Both cruises now show 40 days for check in. Our kids are Platinum and they are in a separate room on the June sailing. They still show 30 days.
I wonder how many people who have Pearl membership are part of the media.
