Pandemic Related Future Cruise Credits Expiring September 30, 2022

Disney Cruise Line’s pandemic related future cruise credits (FCC) will be expiring on September 30, 2022. Emails are being sent to guests who have not utilized any of their FCC. Guests who have used some, but not all of their issued FCCs will NOT be receiving emails.

The email communication from Disney Cruise Line regarding the expiration of future cruise credits from cruises canceled during the pandemic is as follows:

08/11/2022

Dear

All of us at Disney Cruise Line hope you and your family are staying well. We are reaching out with important information about the cruise credit you were previously provided.

When your sailing was cancelled due to the pandemic, you were offered the choice of either a future cruise credit* equal to 125% of your original voyage fare or a full refund. This is a reminder, that your future cruise credit can only be used for sailings that depart by September 30, 2022.

We truly look forward to having you sail with us again. You may place a reservation on hold by applying it as a payment option when booking a new reservation online or you may contact your travel advisor. Any remaining future cruise credit will be applied to your shipboard account as a non-refundable onboard credit.

Guests who do not utilize the future cruise credit by September 30, 2022, will automatically receive a refund equal to 100% of the original voyage fare back to the original form of payment. Refunds typically take up to two billing cycles to appear on most credit card statements.

There is no need to contact us if you do not plan to utilize this remaining future cruise credit. Refunds will occur automatically after September 30, 2022. If you have questions about an upcoming reservation, please contact a member of our reservation team at 1-866-325-6685 or 407-566-7797 or your travel advisor.

Sincerely,

Cast & Crew

The CDC just removed all quarantine, social distancing AND testing requirements as of 8/11/22. It’s time for DCL to do the same! As soon as DCL removes all testing and vaxx requirements, I’ll book my next cruise. Tick. Tock.

Crew members have been told that some should be lifting in August, but your post makes me wonder if they may hold off on announcing changes until after the antivaxxers lose their FCC, just to save that money. Hmmmm…

Don’t worry. I’ll be on the next cruise that I can AFTER they remove all these unnecessary requirements. I’ll be there. Not vaxxed and not tested like the rest of sane society.

What a truly horrific take you have. Covid is killing thousands of Americans each week and disabling many as well. The absolute lack of empathy and knowledge in Americans is truly alarming. I am very glad that DCL has consistently kept the safety of it’s crew, cast members and guests at the top of their priorities.

Do you know how many people have been killed worldwide by their governments from the Covid shot? 12 million. I have yet to meet anyone that did not get the shot that regrets it. Have talked with many who did that wish they made a different decision. In today’s information society, ignorance is a choice. Do your research. Your life might just depend on it.

That is an outright lie. It’s disturbing that Scott lets such disinformation to sit on his blog. You sir, are choosing ignorance and lies over science and fact. Its a complete shame what politics have done to America, science and basic commonsense.

I’m going to level with you, Marc: I’m completely mortified for you. Either you are insanely gullible and victim to disingenuous manipulators, or you are just not bright. Either way, I’m thrilled that you won’t be on the 12 day Magic cruise with us next month because this is meant to be a joyous trip for everyone onboard and I think you may undermine that.
