Hero Zone is an all new indoor multi-function, climate controlled sports area tucked away on deck 12 aft aboard the Disney Wish. You read that correctly, climate controlled! Guests can now enjoy basketball, ping-pong, and other games in the air conditioning rather than the Bahamian sun. The venue will host scheduled events as well as free-play sports.
The second floor includes a ping-pong table, table shuffleboard, air hockey, and two foosball tables. Plus, for the adults that may want to check in on the younger ones, there are two doors on the second floor that offer easy access to the Quiet Cove.
The Incredibles Incredi-Games
The premier activity offered in the Hero Zone is the Incredi-Games, an Incredibles themed inflatable obstacle course which transforms the arena into a family friendly physical challenge.
The Incredi-Course obstacle course where guests can go 1 on 1 with a friend or family member. At this time, there were no additional physical requirements or limitations posted other than the 40″ minimum height requirement. Be sure to bring a pair of socks.
Let me start by saying I’m a multiple time Disney cruiser and will probably cruise with them again soon so I’m not just trying to bash them, but, am I being too critical or does anyone else expect more from Disney than an inflatable slide and bouncey playground that you would find at the county fair? Disney, please do better if you are going to charge what you do. It seems that they have really turned up their game in others areas of the Wish but this part just screams cost cutting to me.
