Youth Activities Relaxing Restrictions: Reservations No Longer Required

Disney Cruise Line is relaxing restrictions in the youth activity spaces dropping the reservation requirement. The Know Before You go page has been updated the latest policy.

Children can find something to love at larger-than-life, whimsically themed kids clubs, thanks to a near endless range of activities, games and surprises with enhanced health and safety measures.

Dropping Off/Picking Up
Only one parent or guardian at a time can drop off or pick up kids at Disney’s Oceaneer Lab and Disney’s Oceaneer Club. In addition, parents are not allowed to enter the youth clubs when dropping off and picking up children.

Face Coverings
Guests under 5 years of age who are currently ineligible to be vaccinated are required to bring and wear appropriate face coverings at all times while inside Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab.

Handwashing
All children will be required to wash their hands upon entering and exiting the youth clubs.

Cleaning
With a focus on high-touch surfaces, youth clubs will be cleaned more frequently and surfaces will be sprayed with a non-toxic disinfecting mist each night.

Teen and Tween Clubs
Both Vibe for teens and Edge for tweens are open.

Nursery
“it’s a small world” nursery!” is temporarily unavailable.

Same here for a trip on 4/13. Reservations not open yet – they open on 3/14. I’m wondering when those open- like Midnight EST on the 14th? Do I need to stay up and book right away?

Our travel agent just sent us the link to this page with a “Great News” in the subject line. It’s hard to know how to react without more details. Our understanding was that the reservations were in place to control the number of kids they were crowding into these indoor spaces. Is the occupancy still being limited, even without the reservation requirement, or will they just pack them in now…

Talk to me when they stop mandating our kids take proven-to-be-dangerous shots to board. What a joke. Platinum cruiser here, never going back until they end the kids va cc mandate.

Disney is very happy to have an anti-science, harmful agenda pushing person like yourself not sailing with them.

Does this mean children as young as 3 years old will enter and leave the oceanneer club and be own their own without their permission.

No, it means that we don’t have to make a reservation for a time slot 30 days ahead of sailing. We can now bring them and take them out as we please.

When will they open the nursery again? Seems silly to have the kids area fully functional but not be able to drop little ones off at the nursery. We are sailing in late April and I’m hoping this opens back up so that I can take my wife to a lunch at Palo during our sailing to celebrate our anniversary. It’s not going to be possible with the nursery close tho. OPEN THE NURSERY PLEASE DISNEY!!!!

Does mean kids can spend 3 hours or more at oceanneer club and lab without time limits. And that stay at oceanneer club and lab e.g. 9:00am until 2:00pm and go back and by at oceanneer club and lab 4:00pm until 11:00pm.

Does anyone really know what’s going on? So much conflicting information on Facebook and other boards. Do we or Do we Not have to make reservations for the kids club? You can’t get through to Disney on the phone, so that’s not an option to get the correct information.

3 and 4 year olds still require a reservation and are being put in a separate area away from other children and siblings. It’s really a crazy policy… they are putting all the unvaccinated kids in 1 room together which might amplify covid spread.
