Disney Cruise Line Audition Notice for Disney Character Look-Alikes and Disney Character Performers

This week, Disney Cruise Line put out a casting call for auditioning Animated Character Performers for fleet wide needs for current and future sailings. Including opportunities on the Disney Dream with rehearsal beginning April 2022.

The casting notice read as follows:

Disney Cruise Line® is auditioning Animated Character Performers for fleet wide needs for current and future sailings. Including opportunities on the Disney Dream with rehearsal beginning April 2022. 

Disney takes pride in the art of theatrical storytelling, producing the highest caliber theatre at sea.  We hire versatile performers for entertainment production shows, events, meet & greets and staged appearances. 

Contract includes competitive pay, travel, room and board, and significant contract completion bonus. All performers appear as fully costumed Disney Characters.  Some performers also appear as Disney Character Look-alikes, and may step out into ensemble dancer roles. There are three hiring categories pending your skill set and dance ability. 

Be warmed up and ready to begin at time listed. Wear form fitting attire to show your silhouette and proper dance shoes.
Performers will learn a movement routine and/or an animation exercise

SEEKING:

  • Performers portraying Female Roles: 4’8.5″ – 5’0.5”, 5’2″ – 5’3″, 5’5″ – 5’7″
  • Performers portraying Males Roles: 5’7″ – 5’9″ with a youthful look; 5’11” – 6’3″ with slender to athletic/muscular builds
