Disney Magic & Disney Fantasy December 2022 Sailings Quietly Added

Today, Disney Cruise Line quietly added a handful of Disney Magic voyages from Galveston, Texas, and Disney Fantasy sailings from Port Canaveral, Florida for December 2022. The new sailings fill-in the void previously left following the Fall 2022 itinerary announcement in June. The majority of the sailings aboard each ship are Very MerryTime cruises. At this time, Disney Cruise Line has NOT released the November and December 2022 dates for the Disney Wonder.

The new sailings are now available to book online for everyone, this mini-itinerary release does not come with tiered booking based on Castaway Club status.

Interesting, Hasn’t the Wonder done the sailings out of Galveston in the past? With the Wish coming on line in the fall do you think they are shifting the Magic to take the Wonder’s Galveston itineraries? Any speculation on what that would mean for the Wonder? More West Coast cruises perhaps? Or moving to Port Everglades with a new set of itineraries?

I’m still scheduled for the Wonder in November out of Galveston. This has me pretty spooked about my sailing now.

Still no news on Wonder mid Oct-Dec sailings for 2022? Looks like Magic is taking over the Wonder’s Galveston itineraries in late 2022.

Are you booked for 2021 or 2022? The Wonder doesn’t have any itineraries posted for Nov 2022 as far as I can see.

Thanks for tweeting the news! Got our three favorite staterooms booked for Galveston Dec 18th sailing. Our annual big family trip! We’re excited to try out the Magic, the only one I haven’t been on yet.

Thanks Scott for the heads up. Immediately called my TA and booked a Nov 2022 Cruise on the Fantasy. The room we liked was available so that was a sign. So right now we have three cruises booked on three different cruises in the next year. Dream 12/2021 Wish 9/2022 and the Fantasy 11/2022. Still nervous about our December 2021 cruise though. We will see

Scott thank you for always doing such a great job – any hint yet on why the Magic is sailing out of Galveston? We live in the West and would really love to see the Wonder stay on the West coast so its an easy drive instead of the extra expense of flights to Florida!
