Today, Disney Cruise Line updated the inaugural summer 2022 Disney Wish sailings with starting from prices for each stateroom category ahead of next week’s early booking opportunity starting on May 17th for Platinum Castaway Club members with 25+ sailings. By revealing the opening day pricing, Disney Cruise Line is providing those with early booking opportunities the valuable information need to make booking decisions for the Disney Wish’s inaugural season, and hopefully will help reduce call wait times for the first few days by eliminating a lot of callers just wondering about the cost.
It is extremely important to remember this information is simply a general overview of the starting from pricing for each sailing by stateroom type such as inside, oceanview, verandah and concierge. Stateroom category availability may vary per sailing. The starting from pricing and availability are likely to change rapidly during the the first few of the following early booking windows:

One last note, the pricing below is representative of a snapshot in time on opening day. As cruises book, prices will increase and stateroom availability will dwindle. The pricing below includes taxes, fees & port expenses for 2 adults.

What do you think about the starting from prices for the Disney Wish?
UPDATE – Disney Dream Summer 2021 vs Wish 2022 Opening Day Pricing
I received an email from a reader named Vern who took the time to compare Dream 2021 opening day pricing with the above Disney Wish pricing. It was quite an interesting comparison as you will see below.
Not too bad overall…I wonder what it will look like when I can book on the 24th.
Yup. Way cheaper than what I expected. Not booking yet (want a Halloween cruise on the Wish) but encouraging
Ana, try not to use the word cheaper someone may be listening:) I am happy to see that DCL is not trying to take advantage of their clientele and remaining the class act that they have always been.
Spot on Jo. Don’t let anyone hear you say that! As for the pricing, I didn’t expect a drastic jump outside of the maiden and first few sailings for obvious reasons. The Wish is replacing the Dream and it isn’t like they added sailings at Port Canaveral, so you can’t take the Dream away, put in the newest ship, and automatically start charging $500 to $1000 more a stateroom. I figured the Wish would settle in with comparable pricing for the 3/4-night itineraries out of Port Canaveral which were offered by the Dream. One reader emailed me a spreadsheet where they compared opening day Dream Summer 2021 vs Wish 2022 and it was interesting that the starting prices were only up slightly approximately 10% for inside, Oceanview, and verandah. Surprisingly, the concierge pricing for the Wish dropped.
While looking around at the rate details, I noticed that it mentions in a couple of places that “full payment is required at the time of booking for all guests and is non refundable.” Is this normal for early sailings on a new ship?
What have the maiden voyages looked like in the past? Are there special events, etc? So excited for the possibility of booking to be on the first trip-opportunities like that don’t come around very often!
