Today, the Disney Wish inaugural season became available online for all Platinum Castaway Club members. This finally allowed me to verify the specific itinerary details, specifically the exact port order. In April, when the sail dates were announced, we discovered a number of the 4-night sailings would result in a double booking at Castaway Cay if the Disney Wish sailed the standard port order of Port Canaveral, Nassau, Castaway Cay, and at Sea. As expected, there is a second 4-night Bahamian itinerary for the Disney Wish that moves the day at sea to the 2nd day pushing Nassau and Castaway Cay out a day resolving the double booking at Castaway Cay.
The website has been updated to reflect the actual port order as it is currently being sold on Disney Cruise Line’s website.
4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral, Florida • Nassau, Bahamas • Castaway Cay • At Sea
6/20/22, 7/4/22, 8/1/22, 8/15/22, 8/29/22, 9/5/22, 9/12/22, 9/19/22, 9/26/22
4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral, Florida • At Sea • Nassau, Bahamas • Castaway Cay
6/27/22, 7/11/22, 7/18/22, 7/25/22, 8/8/22, 8/22/22
Yes, this was this site’s problem, not a DCL problem, I simply did not have the specific details until today.
UPDATE: 5/24/21 – Disney Cruise Line modified the itineraries for the Dream on May 2, 2022 and the Wish on July 18, 2022 to eliminate the double bookings at Castaway Cay. In both cases, the port order was altered.
There are still 2 dates in 2022 where there is a conflict at Castaway Cay. One is the 7/18/22* 4-night listed above with the * – as of this morning, it was still showing as the standard port order. Here are the 4 sailings which result in a double booking at Castaway Cay which obviously cannot happen.
Castaway Cay on May 4, 2022
April 30, 2022 – Disney Magic | 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from MiamiMay 2, 2022 – Disney Dream | 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral
Castaway Cay on July 20, 2022
July 16, 2022 – Disney Fantasy | 5-night Western Caribbean Cruise from Port CanaveralJuly 18, 2022 – Disney Wish | 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral
I double-checked all four of these sailings on Disney Cruise Line’s website this morning, and I feel it is only a matter of time for the Dream and Wish itineraries to be adjusted to resolve the Castaway Cay overbooking.

Disney Wish Maiden Voyage
Last but not least, DO NOT GIVE UP!
As of this morning, the Disney Wish’s Maiden voyage is no longer showing up on Disney Cruise Line’s website to book. DO NOT GIVE UP, there could be temporary holds on staterooms that will expire at MIDNIGHT if deposits are NOT paid. Each day of the call in only Platinum Castaway Club booking days this has been the case. Plus, there could be people who requested quotes from their TA and will say pass. SERIOUSLY, DO NOT GIVE UP!
Thanks for all the work you do, Scott. We know you always want to get it right. That’s how a good reporter should operate. Motto should be get it right not get it first:) Thanks, again.
Do we know if the September itineraries are Halloween on the high seas?
They are not marked as such at this time.
