The 2022 Star Wars Day at Sea sailings have announced to return aboard the Disney Fantasy. The day-long celebration filled with unique character encounters, unforgettable live shows and Star Wars-themed activities for the entire family will take place between January and early March 7-night Disney Fantasy cruise departures from Port Canaveral to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

My wife and I did this cruise a couple of years ago for my 60th birthday, it was a blast. The ship is highly decorated and its such a kick to see young children wear the costumes of their favorite character interact with the ships crew dressed up in Empire uniforms. The dinner menu was nicely produced with the Star Wars tie-ins. I actually wore a Star Trek uniform from DS9 and it was well received. I even had a comment from Darth Vader about my “divided loyalties being in conflict” during our photo op. If you do want any or all of the photo ops, I recommend securing those as early as possible before you cruise as there were none being offered on the ship because of the demand booked up.
