Beginning this week eligible Disney Cruise Line guests who disembark from their first Disney cruise will receive information about a Welcome to Castaway Club Special Offer. These Guests can book within 60 days after disembarking their first Disney cruise and save up to $350.
- Save $50 per stateroom per night when booking a Verandah Stateroom, maximum savings of $350 on a 7-night or longer cruise
- $40 per stateroom per night when booking an Oceanview Stateroom, maximum savings of $280 on a 7-night or longer cruise
- $30 per stateroom per night when booking an Inside Stateroom, maximum savings of $210 on a 7-night or longer cruise.

Seems like less than the normal 10% for booking onboard? I’ve never been good at maths, but an inside room on, say a Med cruise, is more than $2100 so the saving of $30 per night per stateroom is less than the 10%. Have I got that wrong or are newbies getting a rubbish deal by using this?
It may be less than 10%, but very few new cruisers are aware of the onboard booking offer and if they are, aren’t likely to do it on their first cruise. This looks like a nice new offer from Disney to try and get some quicker repeat cruisers
Any idea if this could be combined with a placeholder?
The fine print states the Castaway Club Welcome Back offer cannot be combined with any other special offers or discounts.
